This two year DipHE course trains you to become a social media content creator who will have skills in producing, delivering and distributing content across a wide range of technology platforms in all areas of business and culture.
Social media content is a quickly growing field that everyone sees in daily life, from shoppable content on Instagram to posts and adverts on YouTube.
You are taught to create content for social media channels and platforms (for example Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, X (formerly Twitter), LinkedIn and YouTube), and to understand the distribution technologies used to track and measure how successful your content is.
Once you have completed two years of full time study at university, you are awarded a Diploma of Higher Education (DipHE) at Level 5. Salford’s DipHE programmes are practical and hands on, and flexible learning options are on offer, so you can choose to study either full or part time.
